Agree. He should have had somebody in the bullpen when he sent James out there, based on his latest outings. He's struggling right now.

The idea that 1 loss to a team with an RPI in the 110s, out of the ~60 games we'll play this season, will damage our resume so much that we fall out of the "national seed"* range is pretty silly.
*-FYI, "national seed" now means top 16, not just top 8, since they seed all of the 1 seeds now.

First part correct. Second part bad wrong. National seed means host in a super. So top 8.
