One thing I?ve noticed with out guys is they do not read down angle on a pitch and take extra bases. Jake should be standing on 2nd right now. No excuse for that.

Terrible at bats by our 2nd and 3rd hitters.

Good Lord......What a waste of a potentially big inning...?.

Seems like we're saying that a lot these days

What? The outfielder threw the ball immediately to 2nd. If anything Gilbert should have scored easily.

I am to the point where we should be looking to squeeze bunt when our 2-5 hitters come up.

Please read again. Down angle on pitches. He had two that AB by Allen he could have taken 2nd. One was a no doubter standing up swipe of 2nd.

Doubleheaders are two 9 inning games. The exception is when the doubleheader is on the last day of the series. Then it is two 7 inning games. Since this was a Thursday-Saturday series, today's doubleheader will be 7 innings each. That's the rule.

Did the old guy in the booth really say that people travel big time to come see Blue Bell Park cause it’s the absolute palace of college baseball??

Our hitting just sucks on the road. It puts a ton of pressure on our pitching and when we play a good hitting team at their place we get swept. Our hitters will have to show up next weekend.
-
Tanner Allen has a tough task this weekend vs A&M's lefties but Westburg looks lost.
Lefties give us trouble because they turn Mangum and Rowdy around, Allen can't hit them, and, if they can pitch inside, Westburg has a massive hole.

You really think it's the road?

Doxakis and Lacy are legit pros

We're a good hitting team. We're just facing some good pitchers this weekend. Only problem with that is there will be good arms in a super regional and Omaha too.

Gotta love how Westburg doesn't even know its ball 4. And you wonder why he strikes out so much...doesn't know the damn count

We haven’t battled today. We battle at home. How many strikeouts have been looking? How many fastball strikes have we just watched go by? We don’t do that at home. We do that on the road.
