Not necessarily. Even if it is a double play as you say, you would rather have man on 3rd than 1st with 2 outs. Miscues like that will determine W or L come tournament time.

Unless Skelton does a dance and distracts him the dude just tags him and throws to first. The ball got to him fast. You still gotta run though

No, not right down the middle, but these guys are brought in here to throw strikes. When they come in and walk three straight batters missing like Barlow was missing, that’s unacceptable. We all know Barlow is very good. But he has to be better than that. Same with Gordon. He can be unhittable. But missing like he does sometimes. That’s just mind boggling. A team like UGA, they don’t hit all that great. Make them put the ball in play and beat us like that. You can’t keep giving them chances. Eventually a blind hog finds a bit.

That ball was belt high in the middle of the plate. But just keep throwing strikes.

You're taught not to run into a tag in that situation. He didn't run into a tag, and the guy made a heads up play throwing to second before worrying about him. Pump the brakes on accusing our players of not knowing when they do or do not have to run to the next base.

If they keep hitting their way on and score 5 runs this inning I will congratulate them.

Good grief, why did we take Cole out?! Usually they leave em in too damn long, now they take him out too quick! We don't have much left to pitch, why waste a guy that we count on?

You do run at the 3rd baseman there bc it keeps you out of the double play you make the guy come to tag you. If you freeze in the middle ...well....
