Thanks, my daughter, her husband and my twin grandsons live in Vicksburg, where I originally from. I talked to my daughter shortly after the news broke about the tornado. Everybody is okay.

Good to hear that you could get through to them and all is well.
Don't you live in Monroe? There's a school there totally engulfed by fire, apparently started by a lightning strike. The chaser said it wasn't far from downtown Monroe.

Looks like the storm west of Starkville might clip the NW corner of Oktibbeha County. TWC says no debris signature, and the storm may be dissipating.

I’m in Williamsburg. WDAM dude just said it would be here at 9:25. We sheltered in our safest spot with helmets. Fun stuff.

We have a tornado watch here now. Don't know if it's a new one, or the earlier one has been extended northward.
Edit: looks like it was just extended northward to the Tennessee line.

There must be a lot of hail in these storms. A rogue storm went west of Huntsville/Decatur that had reported tennis ball size hail.

VERY much. that was to be the biggest danger to this system besides strong surface winds. especially for your area (slight)
