And he summarily strikes out the LH hitter. James absolutely should have pitched to one more batter.

OK, thanks for the clarification. I'm watching but with the sound down. Didn't realize it was a PH.

Pitcher wanted no part of giving Mangum something to hit there

So he gave him the equivalent of a lead off single?? I don't think that was intentional.

Horrible at bat by Westy. For our offense to have such gaudy statistics, we don't put up a lot of runs in most of our SEC games.

I didn't say intentional, he pitched scared

And Allen strikes out on a ball caught in the batter's box Allen's standing in.
-
And Big Mac goes yard! Gives us some breathing room. 5-1 now.

We're #1 in batting average, #1 in slugging %, #2 in OBP, and #2 in runs scored. I'm not seeing the problem

Well I see the complainers are back in the game thread.

Bama bringing out a guy with 19 ip and a .49 era. Weird. You'd think they'd save him

We scored 10 against UF and 15 against Auburn in game 2. We have scored 5+ in 11 of 14

If all you want are sunshines and roses comments please LEAVE the game thread. Its ridiculous. I say positive when I see positive and negative when I see negative like a lot of other posters.

everything I posted was SEC only stats, OOC has nothing to do with it

No doubt the Auburn weekend was a good one offensively.

Yea, the 35 runs in 2 games against Auburn definitely helps the statistics. In our 5 losses we've scored 2, 5, 5, 2 and 1. 5 run 8th sort of makes the point moot in this game so nevermind.

I’m not sunshine and roses but I tend to keep the bitching to myself until I see how things play out. I’ve been married 25 + years so I know when to keep it to myself. I’d be miserable if I complained about everything and so would she. But have at it

We lead the SEC in hitting slugging percentage and second in OBP in SEC only games as well. And we've probably improved those today.
