Witherspoon for me is going to the one to watch for. He could explode on the scene in a big way. Huge ceiling as he matures and gains experience. But at the same time we need him to come in and use year 1 to get all of that behind him so he can be full go year 2.

Yeah. By the time he is a senior I think he is going to be someone that everyone says "how did we miss this guy?" around the SEC. I'm sure we will probably redshirt him while letting him get his 3 games in.

I hope he is a big surprise. We'll see. Low risk high reward guy IMO given how recruiting went down for us at the RB spot this year.

I think we're all hoping whatever he showed in HS to be rated that high comes out but I'm treating him like Kilby-Lane until he shows otherwise.

I agree...I'm also not convinced that Witherspoon is an SEC back but I like him at DB if it goes that way. In any case we must get some good ones this year. March is such a slow month for recruiting. We had a good April last year so I look forward to some movement in a few weeks.

Yea Witherspoon is such a wild card because he's only played RB 1 year. I know he's a SEC athlete I don't know if he's a SEC RB. Yea I expect recruiting to pick back up here soon too. More kids will start back visiting starting next week leading up to the spring game.

Witherspoon has all kinds of untapped potential IMO. Had he played RB his entire HS career and put up even close to the stats his other years he did his SR year he would have been a top recruit.
