    Very good win against a pretty good mid-major team. Actually a big win because Sam Houston State's RPI is low in the early going and a loss could have been potentially a little harmful even though it's still early.

    I like that we took the lead, were challenged, made a mistake and lost the lead BUT THEN came back and won. It's odd to win on a pickoff but I'll take it. Everyone got a hit except for Skelton and Rowdey so everyone is contributing right now. Barlow has become a major weapon as a LOOGY.

    Glad they didn't call Gordon for a balk. But he did. Also glad we have implemented the LSU balk move. Rarely called. Brutal on a runner.
