1 of the next 2 and a win vs aTm could do it

I tend to agree we are likely in, but IF we lose out, we will likely play ourselves into the NIT. I don’t want to think about that but I also think we could pump the breaks a bit until we get one more win

We can lose out and lose first game in the sec tourney and we are still in..
I don’t understand how some of you can’t understand that

I said I agreed that I felt we are likely in regardless but to assume we are a lock at a game under .500 in league play (counting the tourney) is a mistake imo

We are a lock right now with 9 SEC wins, 21 regular season and 8 Q1 wins. I wouldn't of called us a lock if we weren't yet. A loss in the SECT doesn't count towards regular season SEC record.

Alabama helped us out with their win over South Carolina tonight. OM loss tomorrow to Tennessee puts us in a 3 way tie for 4th with OM and SC.
Finish 4th and get the double bye.

So we are sitting on the 6 line projected right now and you think 4 losses in a row would knock us out?
It's amazing that people think we could still be out with that happening. We are in the big tournament period.

Forgot about them. Geez. Could be anywhere between a 4 seed and 7 seed if it ended today. That's a big difference.

Ok. I just hope I don’t have the opportunity to be proven correct. I believe we are in regardless too. But to act like we won’t be on the bubble if we finish with four straight losses to end the year is simply incorrect imo

We were locked prior to this game. The committee has always valued wins over quality opponents and no one on the bubble can compete with our resume (not to mention no bad losses to date).
-
We own the SEC's best win streak at the moment at 5 games too

You can stop hoping cause it's impossible. We simply don't play shitty enough teams in the next 4 games were 4 losses could drop us completely out of the tournament. One of the 4 is at #7 Tennessee so a loss there wouldn't hurt us at all. That leaves @Auburn (loss again doesn't hurt us really at all) and Texas A&M. Loss to the Aggies would only hurt us marginally. We won't be on the bubble so our first game in the SECT won't even get considered by the committee. They'll have us locked into a seed days before selection Sunday. Only a SECT Championship or runner up would influence our seed. Only bubble teams must win their tournament games. We are 25-30 spots clear of being a bubble team.
