Actually that's not true. There are lots of people tied in with great sources. What this shows is some yes, are guessing, while others are going w what's out there. And the out there is ever changing. I'm going w the news and my gut. Really doesn't matter what the kid says at 4pm the day before when they are getting hit from every direction. We shall see.

This. All you can share is what you've been told. Recruiting is fluid and changes from day to day. Heck if you've ever dealt with teenagers you know they change their mind every 5 minutes and then you add in all their "handlers" and things can change at the drop of a hat. I appreciate the info that's shared here. There's no way for anyobe to be 100% on any of this.

Yeah, as crazy as this recruiting season has been, i hope most people can take a little time to welcome in our new guys and not go off the deep end. Sometimes it reminds me of getting dumped by the attractive girl and getting all pissy about it.

Best decision you’ll ever make is not to take any of this personally.

Jerrion Ealy, Running Back, Jackson Prep
When: 11:15 a.m.
State of his recruitment: A 5-star prospect considered the third-best running back in the country by 247Sports, Ealy's decision comes down to Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Clemson and Alabama. Ealy spent more than a year committed to Ole Miss, but in early January he backed off his pledge. Ealy took official visits to all four of his top schools within the last two months. He received a visit at school last week from Alabama coach Nick Saban. Ealy's recruitment will not end once he picks a college. Projected to go in the first round of the MLB Draft, Ealy will have to decide whether or not he plays professional baseball instead of going to school.
Charles Moore, Defensive end, Louisville
When: 9:30 a.m.
State of his recruitment: Once the highest-rated player in the state for his class, Moore recovered from an ACL injury his junior year to help Louisville win a class 4A state title. Moore committed to Mississippi State in August 2017, but he reopened his recruitment last month. Moore took official visits in January to Florida, Florida State and LSU. He visited Auburn in early December.
Nathan Pickering, Defensive tackle, Seminary
When: 9 a.m.
State of his recruitment: Pickering has remained solid on his commitment to Mississippi State since this summer. Pickering, a 4-star prospect, took three unofficial visits to Alabama, an official visit to Florida and an official visit to LSU since he made his commitment, but Pickering gave Mississippi State his final official visit. He enters signing day with a Twitter bio that reads "Defensive Tackle @ Mississippi State University".
Byron Young, Defensive lineman, West Jones
When: 8:00 a.m.
State of his recruitment: Young, a 4-star recruit, committed to Alabama last summer and has publicly supported the Crimson Tide ever since. Young wanted to take his time with his decision, so he didn't sign in December. He used official visits to Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and, a few days ago, LSU. Young shut down all communication Monday, sending a tweet that said "I will not be accepting any more calls or text."
Jonathan Mingo, Wide receiver, Brandon
When: 7:30 a.m.
State of his recruitment: Mingo, the top receiver in the state, took official visits to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Georgia before signing day. He has friends signed with State, but he committed to Ole Miss last July and visited Oxford a couple times last fall. The late Georgia visit looked surprising, but Mingo wore No. 18 in high school because of former Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green, his favorite player who wears the same number in the NFL.
John Rhys Plumlee, Quarterback, Oak Grove
When: 11:45 a.m.
State of his recruitment: Plumlee ended his recruitment when he committed to Ole Miss late Monday night. Plumlee spent six months committed to play football and baseball at Georgia, but the Bulldogs asked him to blueshirt, prompting Plumlee to reopen his recruitment. He plans to play both sports at Ole Miss, though he will consider professional baseball depending on his selection in the MLB Draft.

I like that mingo is picking at 730. Seems that's more of a miss state slot (non-eventful/not prime slot)

I can say this with absolute confidence, he knew what UGA was up to when they came back into the fold late to try and get him when they had some guys leave early and didnt get some targets at WR.
He is a smart kid

This staff is a 180 in recruiting compared to what we're used to. The work with Nathan, Cross, Byron(he's signing with bama unfortunately)and a couple others in this area have been top notch.

Hopefully as Joe establishes some continuity and continues to build relationships in different recruiting areas, their hard work will pay off
