Supposed to be coming on an OV this weekend now instead of LSU.

Why the auburn CBs still pouring in? Just others following others picks?

ETA... I sure as hell wouldn't turn down 1st round mlb money
ETAx2... maybe he watched Deion's 30 for 30 and dreaming big lol
Not one single school he's talking to would he be a starter for. Why would he be, at best, a #2 RB and turn down $5M? He's not doing that. It would make more sense to say he's going to college for 3 years. Whoever started the 1 year stuff is full of crap.

I think it was "at least one year" -- reported by Rosebowl

So I guess if he chooses us that person will never speak to him again as long as he lives?

Maybe it's a football coach selling this idea to ealy, and he's biting.
Oh and if you don't think OM would start him day 1 if that's what it took, I'm not sure you realize who you're talking about

At the minimum, but I think it should actually have been delayed until Henry A posted it.

Then why is Ginn sitting in our dugout for practice today?
It still shocks me that a bunch of adults think they know what kids are going to do when they are being pulled in all kinds of directions like this.
Kid is 18 and has a lot of options. Anyone on a message board that says they for sure know what he is and isn't going to do is kidding themselves.

He's not beating out Phillips. And I seriously doubt (And by doubt, I mean they know) Ealy's people believe that that. He may sign with OM, but he's not playing ball up there and giving up $5M. His folks made a big deal of being one of the elite all star selections for multiple games etc. They have no reason to settle on playing for OM for a year. It's a ridiculous scenario.

Ginn would not be in the dugout if he went in the draft where Ealy should go

And CB's for Moore aren't too relevant currently either. That doesn't mean he won't go to where the CB's say, but he could also go somewhere else. CB's currently aren't a determining factor on where Moore sends his fax on signing day.

It makes sense for him to get an idiot journalist to put it out there so that maybe he gets a little more signing bonus money.

This and the fact the family been saying forever they're taking mlb money.
ETA the Ginn's has a dollar figure they would've taken and it wasn't met. Like you said if ginn drafted where ealy is that figure would've been easily met.

What relationship does he have with that person then?
I know not one auburn fan in the whole city of Louisville.

Is he a top 10 pick? Assigned value drops below 4 million around pick 14. Drops below 3 around pick 23.
I really have no idea what his draft stock. Only site I see him on is really old and has him at #20. That slot is around 3.1. And yeah, 3.1 would be more than enough for me to go pro

There were significant starter/reliever concerns with Ginn that put in the 25-40 overall bracket of the draft. Similar questions surrounded Michael Kopech FWIW.
With Ealy, you are talking about a rare mix of power, speed, acceleration, & arm strength with no guessing on what his future position & role SHOULD be. That puts him in the 5-15 overall bracket
