    Not even a bang-bang play. Someone has to lose a job over that no-call.

    This is the NFL and not the SEC someone will pay for it. Suspension or termination. If the Saints lose I suspect the latter. With sport betting and this being such a big game there will be some heads turning.

    A doctor or engineer would be sued for malpractice or negligence if they made such an obvious mistake (and they would lose the lawsuit). Anybody would be fired from their job for such performance.

    If this whole ref crew doesn't resign within the next 24 hours, then they have no integrity as people. If the league doesn't fire the whole crew before the day is over, then the league has no interest in fair competition. Worst and most obvious call I've ever seen at any level.

    @JacquesDoucet

    Sean Payton says the NFL told him they blew the call on two counts - pass interference and helmet to helmet.

    Did the NFL tell Sean that the whole crew is fired? If not then the NFL is as blatantly incompetent as the refs. It's really not even an argument. They have to be fired. What other profession could perform like this and still keep their job?

    People have already turned off the NFL and this is just another black eye for the NFL. They need to do something and let the public know what they did.

    A burger flipper would be fired such an egregious error in their occupation.

    Here's the defender's quote...

    Robey Coleman: ?Yes, I got there too early. I was beat, and I was trying to save the touchdown

    Saints should file a lawsuit against the ref. If the rams win super bowl, the afc loser should too. Probably won't do crap, but it would give huge press and require the ref get fired

    An NFL ref makes $189,000 according to google. I want a job with that type salary and zero accountability. I'm stupid I guess and have always taken jobs where performance is expected. Of course I expect and demand performance from myself. I would resign if I was any ref on that crew.

    Seriously. Engineers, architects, doctors, etc. get sued all the time for making mistakes that cost people money.

    Refs are football fans too, so there will always be bias, even if no money was collected.
