I think we go 6-6. Drop one of the games against Kentucky, Kansas State, or Ark.
You just predicted 7-5 and then said you think we go 6-6. I think 6-6 is our absolute floor and we will end up going 7-5 or 8-4. You do realize that OM and Ark are awful and UK is losing everyone of consequence. Then you are just talking about beating an average Tennessee team to win 8 games. This doom and gloom of shit is way overreacting especially considering the schedule is much much easier next year.

Wow a reasonable prediction with facts to back it up. We will go between 6-6 to 8-4 and go to our tenth bowl in a row.

Thinking 8-4 with a win in all the games we should and two wins over Kentucky, Tenn, auburn or A&M? Losses to LSU, Bama.
Auburn is a shit show right now with less known about their QB next season than we know. Their OL is not great and Gus is still there. Kentucky is losing a ton and comes to Starkville. We own A&M no matter who they have or who we have. I have no idea what Tennessee will be like. That may be my only road trip.

He's not getting fired for 6 wins. Not happening.

I believe 8-4 is very doable next year.

This idea that State can't have a 6 win season is BS. We're not that damn good yet. Mullen had a 6 win season a couple years ago and we're still playing with his talent. I don't see a way QB and WR play can be worse than this year, so 6-8 wins. AU and TN games determine how the year ends up. Upset shot at LSU for a huge year.

Agree completely especially on qb and wr play.

7-5 ceiling(wins over ULL, USM, KState, UK, Ark, ACU, and Ole Miss) and 5-7 floor(wins over ULL, USM, and ACU while winning two and losing two vs either KSU, UK, ARK, OM)

Mullen lucked into getting 6 wins in 2016. He got 5 wins and then we luckily got a bowl due to APR to keep the streak alive.

So you are putting a team Tenn that finished 5-7 and a loss to Vandy that still does not have an OC as unwinnable before the season. Yeah I dunno about that one.

Sure, but that's true for every team in the country. I strongly suspect that at least 1 of our 3 4-star QBs will be ready, and/or else we'll have a transfer who's ready

5-7 to 7-5. We will NOT win more than 7.
-
7-5 with an outside chance of 8-4. 6-6 should put Joe on the hotseat and 5-7 or a loss to OM should get him fired.
Our defense will drop off but should still be pretty good. It will come down to the offense again. If we still look lost and confused on offense, then it's all on Joe because these players have had 2 years to learn his "system" and if they still can't get it, then there's a problem with the system.

So who are the 5 teams we can't beat?
Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Auburn, and .... that awful Tennessee team? Don't think so.

All of our OOC plus UK, Ark, and UM. Saying that, 6 wins is the floor and I think the ceiling is probably 9 at best.
Probable loses are Bama, LSU, Auburn, and A&M.
I think at UT is a toss up that could get us to 8 wins.
C'mon, man....don't you know that we're not gonna win a game next year. We're gonna be so bad that Abilene Christian will skull 17 us to the tune of 79-0 if they're being merciful. 99-0 if they ain't.***
I think we win 8 possibly 9. The ones you mentioned plus I think Auburn will be weaker because of what they've done to Gus this year and Stidham leaving.

For real. TN is a dumpster fire. Nothing is a sure thing I get it but TN has Vandy type talent. I know that it?s at UTK but I?d put that as a W for us today. Also UK loses a ton I got that as a W. So my prediction is 4 OOC wins, wins against UT, UK, AR and OM. 8 wins right now.
