Not necessarily. Neither Joe nor Fitz chose each other. Benching a two year starter who was coming off of an injury and was close to some school records who was also being marketed as the face of the program would have been some bad optics. And Joe did finally threaten to bench Nick after LSU if he didn't play better.
Oh yeah I know you were just telling it like it is about plump. I've even joked with him about his passing ability lol
