Just got in from our meeting at the Golden Corral. This transfer is being orchestrated by Rosebowl, JoMo, Dan Mullen, Coach34, Tom Mars, Leo Lewis and the Cadbury Bunny. It's all part of an elaborate plan to lure OM back into the game. Fields is going undercover for the NCAA.
FYI nexts month's meeting will be held at the Ward's in Seminary.

Y'all gotta calm down. Moorhead ain't Saban so odds of him being eligible next year are probably nil. Only Saban and Bama get that kinda privilege.

Ordinarily I would agree but that racist thing though...that's huge

Idk the NCAA doesn’t want that smoke if he’s appealing based on the racial remarks

One interesting side-benefit of this news is that we can use this as a recruiting tool for years to come. Regardless of whether Fields comes to MSU or not.
If a guy as obviously talented as Fields ends up being forced to transfer, it becomes just a little bit harder for the big boys to keep convincing highly talented kids to take a gamble with joining an already insanely deep roster (or go someplace with an entrenched starter).

We joke about Ole Miss but could you imagine Mars going into a transfer hearing based on a racist environment and having the grove as evidence?

If he gets to transfer and play immediately it actually encourages the top kids to all sign with the blue bloods and see what happens because if it doesn't work out they don't have to sit out a year if they transfer.

Not really. If the racist comment is what he says is the reason that makes this much different than just "not working out"
-
It would be really cool to get him. I wonder what our chances are? Usually I'd say no shot but with his prior commitment and relationship with Moorhead and Co this could be interesting. Would instantly be one of the most talented offenses players MSU has ever had (talented not necessarily best).

Maybe so. I actually think we are not many years from all players being able to transfer without sitting out and I don't think it's going to have a huge impact.

KT and Mayden just need to go ahead and transfer. We continue to flirt with other QBs would certainly send a message to me if I was them. I wouldn't even wait to see if it's true or not. Get on down to Allen Hall and start the paperwork. I would be outta here. Don't need the Jumbotron flashing in my face "to git".

There is a strong likelihood he stays four years.
That means Fields would be a Senior before he is the starter, just silly.
This is easily the right call.

I hope your pitbull eats you.

If I was a QB my top spot would be Oklahoma right now. Lincoln Riley is the best coach in the nation for qbs right now.
