Go back and read Paul?s article after hs commitment is.....he was expected to enroll in January....Payton was the one who didn?t do his homework...his grades likly just came out

So our coaching staff has no way to see in mid-November if a guy is on track to pass his semester courses needed to graduate? Would have thought we would have improved things on this front after the mess we got into with the EMCC players (Rivers and Cole). Of course with the redshirting we've been doing with JUCO players lately I'm not sure how imperative it is that they get out in December.

I felt like Dan trying to get them out so early is what messed them up. And wasn't there some issues on EMCC's end?
You never know about people. He could have tanked his finals. If a player is in JUCO they probably didn't have very many Ivy League offers coming out of high school to say the least.

The issue was entirely on EMCC's end if I remember correctly. Something about Rivers taking too many hours during the summer. Finally got screwed by the Dontae Jones Rule

Are we still pursuing a Grad Transfer QB or is that not happening now?

I just wanna roll with Key but I understand he is limited in some respects same as Fitz. I know Joe's job is to win so I will support whoever.

I'll be disappointed in Joe if he doesn't pursue Jalen.

Can Saban block a grad transfer? Gotta believe he'll try his hardest to keep that from happening if he can.
I think Hurts would succeed greatly in Joe's offense.

Can't do anything to a Grad Transfer, Saban will have alot of influence on his decision though. Sure they still have a good relationship.

so as of Monday how do we feel about our CB class? A bit worried on Brooks (ARK), Emerson (MIA) and James (BAMA)

Be ready to be disappointed. He?s not much different than what we?ve got and he?s not playing against Bama.

My reaction has no effect on if we get him or not, but you absolutely have to reach out.

So is Derrick Hall a lost cause at this point? Looks like Auburn or Ole Miss turned the tide with him cancelling his OV.

So he is almost 3 inches shorter than advertised and has had issues with entering UT and UNC. But yeah but by all means keep chasing him. This is Quay part 2. Pass
