AP All-America team has Montez on the 2nd team and Simmons and Abram on the 3rd team.
Kudos to our guys and the national recognition they are getting.

Simmons on the 3rd team?? I'd take him over any DT. Probably would take Abram over any S too.

Yeah, it seemed like when we moved Abram into the Cheetah role, that dude absolutely took over games. He reminded me of the Honey Badger for those three games he played. If he was given that opportunity all year, he may have been at the Heisman ceremony.
I agree, I would almost take Simmons over any DT in the entire country. Obviously in the top 3. Sweat would have been 2nd team as long as they put Josh Allen on 1st team.

Abram is the best safety in the country. Period. Simmons 3rd team, come on mane, the guy is a beast!

Glad for the guys but surprised Simmons is not first team, or at least second. I think his numbers may be lower this season because of the rest of our rushers performing well. Still a bit disappointed, but moving on.

Not that our other rushers aren't good but it helps them when it takes 2 to block him on every down ... if they can then.

Yup, sometimes, the "Bama Bump" is real... and I think that's the case with Ross Pierschbacher...
