I don't think there will be a better head coach/school fit in the entire FBS. Kudos to both of them I guess?

So I guess he now knows better than to call the "escorts" on his school phone. Then again that ain't a public university so no pesky Freedom of Information Act to worry about. Yep, next stop Vandy and then Notre Dame.

That number was planted by Ole Miss as a backdoor escape plan before the NCAA dug deeper. Prove me wrong.

Idk if that's exactly what happened but there were certainly things that happened that did not come to light. It all seemed to easy. Freeze went away too quietly, and the way OM handled it was weird.

I think freeze fell on the sword. Hell...he really had no choice imo. Getting caught red handed setting up the hookers for the recruits(which is what he was doing imo) is way worse for him than ?going away quietly?.

Thanks Liberty. One less place I would let my kids go to school.

I don't think anything was planted. The question is whether it was by accident that the number didn't get redacted.

So, what is the current story-line with Hugh and the SEC schools that showed interest? Did Sankey blackball Hugh, or did the schools call Tom Mars as part of their due diligence?

Seemed obvious to me that number on his phone was left as an out when the heat got too hot. The strangest or most telling part of it was Freeze not redacting the number when he had been given the chance to do so.

While this is a tough one for me to digest, I really cannot point out the wood specs in his eyes when I have logs in mine. I am all about 2nd and maybe even 3rd chances. I just hope he has gotten his personal life straightened out, especially with his family. I'm sure he had to sit down with Falwell Jr. and discuss his past transgressions in great detail, before Liberty decided to make the call. Personally, I hope Hugh turns his life around and has success on and more importantly......off the field.

Auburn won't let Malzahn give any assistant more than a one year deal and they've publicly come out and said that. Freeze was in talks with Auburn to become the OC but he wanted something more than one year.

Once Auburn realized they were hurting themselves they went back on that statement and said Malzahn could get an OC and they might give them a two year contract.

Point is Auburn had a shot at Freeze and they have self sabotaged themselves openly. And of course Missouri outbid them for Kelly Bryant. Auburn is in absolute disarray.

Some of you need Xanax. There was no conspiracy. He got caught with his hand in the honey pot. Liberty now has Freeze and Baylor’s old man in charge. Falwell probably is comparing phone numbers with Freeze.

I hear you. The problem is you just admitted you had a log in your eye. Hugh doesn't think he has a speck or a log. He's the victim. Hugh thinks it is everybody else's fault that he doesn't have a job. Hugh isn't remorseful. And he is a vindictive SOB. I could tell you a story that would shock you. But I won't and I can't on this type of forum.

Yeah, this whole thing wreaks of filth. This thread makes me want to take a shower.
On another note, I’m not sure how many SEC schools actually have reached out to Freeze. I think most AD’s and HC’s are smarter than message board posters and know that he’s not that good of a coach. He’s a cheater. Croom could have won the SEC with top 5 recruiting classes.

Yep. Say what you will about his father (and I would say a whole lot), but at least Falwell Sr. was sincere. Falwell Jr. has made it very clear that he doesn't have a problem with adultery, so it's not remotely surprising that he wanted Freeze.

Yeah, Jr wants to make Liberty relevant in their conference, and he knows Freeze can do this. I suspect Jr is thrilled to not only hire Freeze as a coach, but to hire a staunch Baptist who talks about his faith as their coach.
