Haven't seen it mentioned here... Freezus and Pruitt met....

    Regarding UT's OC opening...

Don't the Vols roll on to the MSU schedule in 2019?

So do you talk to the league or talk to freeze first? I think they have this at least partially cleared already.

I don't know what to believe re: his "hireability"... But I do think AU and UT would hire him in a heartbeat...

There are mutterings that Sankey has given Hugh the OK.... "Go and sin no more, my son..."

Hugh & Phat Phil or Hugh & Jimmy Rane... SEC is about to get lit (again)...

The SEC Office may have decided that enough time has transpired between Freeze's transgressions and him being a potential coaching candidate for an SEC school. If not, TN is playing with fire , and stupidity.

I'm pretty sure that Saban would have hired him, if Saban had gotten the OK to proceed on from the SEC Office.

They are playing with Fire anyway. Any staff that includes Freeze automatically goes on the watch list with the NCAA.

I think you are correct, sir... although it would have likely been a consultant position to the "deputy assistant to the vice-OC".... or somethin' wonky like that...

They’ll let TN hire him if they want him. But how desperate does a program have to be to do it?

Probably would have been,TUSK. I just heard back when all this was going on that Saban thought highly of Freeze and pretty much thought he was an offensive genius. Maybe genius is a little too much, but close.

Didn't his proposed job only pay $30K or so? If that's the case, maybe Freeze turned Saban down. The OC spot at Tennessee would pay about 50 times that much, maybe more.

Freeze will be back as a HC at some point. Maybe not in this conference, but he?ll be back.
Wouldn?t shock me to see him take an OC gig for a couple of seasons somewhere first, tho. Depends on how cool Sankey is with it.
