From Commercial Appeal two days ago:
"With his commitment to Michigan "hanging in the balance," Lausanne running back Eric Gray says he will visit two more SEC schools before signing day.
"More than likely it will be Ole Miss and Alabama, and if not Alabama it will be Ole Miss and Texas A&M," said Gray.
The 5-10, 195 pound senior is the No. 3 all-purpose back in the country and the No. 8 overall prospect in Tennessee according to the 247Sports composite rankings."

Gray will end up at TN as long as TN new OC wants him & I expect whoever it is will want him.

There is no need to drop Walker
Hill prob tests the NFL water after next year
Gibson will gone as well
2020
You have
Walker SR
Witherspoon will redshirt no matter what unless we are by a injury bug RSfrosh
And if you sign Gray a Soph at worse ( maybe he redshirts )
No need to drop Walker .
And yes more than likely Gray ends up a Vol

This post right here. Thank you. Lot of folks can't see the forest through the trees. If we got Gray, we still might lose 2 RBs after next year. Why would you drop Walker, especially given he's a JUCO?

How do you think Gray would feel about Freeze as his new OC?

As long as the OC wants Gray I think he'll be at TN. He'd likely sell him on being a better Jeff Scott & Jaylon Walton.

If SaBear couldn't get St Hugh the Pious hired in the SEC no one will.... ever.

Yeah that just hit me. We're likely down to two known RB's on roster after '19.

I know numbers are tight but damn Everett Cunningham looks like a player coming off the edge.

It should be very clear at this point that Moorhead prioritizes speed.
If Drummond has a speed question, the I doubt we offer. Just isn't what he's looking for

Yeah my thinking as well, not that I hate it kinda like the philosophy. As long as they have sure hands get all the speed you want. Really interested to watch how JoMo builds this team going forward. Just hope we keep our physicality while being explosive.

I like the philosophy. It doesn't mean that Drummond won't end being a really good player, it's just clear what Jomo wants, particularly with guys that aren't obvious studs

I doubt the SEC has an official rule allowing them to block it, and UT would absolutely be dumb/arrogant enough to ignore the "suggestions" and hire him anyway.
