The best friend talk is overblown. They have no impact on each other's recruitment. If they end up at the same school it will be simply by chance.

Regarding Mingo, I'd love to have him but watching him this year he just doesn't dominate like a guy of that caliber should in my opinion. Heard a college coach say he's actually better suited as a linebacker.

If we get KB it greatly helps out chances with him but we very well could get him regardless. Longo is hurting OM more than helping them with Mingo. He is an extremely competitive kid and he wants to win. Yes he wants to be drafted and they can sell him that and they are, but we are very much in the game.

Agree and I contend we need more speed at many positions on the team. We have mostly 4.5 - 4.7 forty WRs and DBs and that's ok to compete with most teams. To get to BAMA's level, you have to have some elite speed in a few positions. Not all, but at least a few. Like sub 4.5......RB, WR, and DBs come to mind mostly. And if one or two of those could return kickoffs and punts to give us an occasional breakaway TD, it would be a big plus. The latest RB we have committed from Alabama has around 4.4 from what everyone tells me. That is good, and we could use several more like that.

Yes it would help and yes he would play a lot in year one. Probably start.

He wants to play with a QB that can get him the ball. Like I said he is an extremely outspoken competitive kid. But hes not begging for attention with his recruitment like others are.

Watching his 2018 highlight, 2 things stand out:

1)He is held a ridiculous amount & 2) Im curious how many flags he was responsible for this year as there were several late hits on QBs just in this highlight.
