was at Horn Lake Friday, talked with man claiming to be ND's travel baseball coach. He says GA is done deal, fwiw. Says he is great kid that wants to be a MD one day (btw, dad is MD outside Orlando). MSU remains outside contender but made up some ground. Great HS player but hard to envision him as top inside backer in country. Raydarius Jones is intriguing athlete, can fly! ND just is not big enough for LB in SEC, imo

Go watch them play OG this week. You'll see what real game changing speed is with Plumlee.

Plumlee is the fastest football player in MS. He'll be returning kicks, playing QB, and probably some defense too. It's crazy how fast he is.
Hopefully we see some of that kind of speed from Witherspoon now that he's committed.

They've ran on the same field getting their 40's this spring at the Atlanta Nike Opening Regional. Raydarius ran a laser 4.45 Plumlee ran a 4.61. Again Plumlee can blaze he's not near as fast as Raydarius. Watching Raydarius run in the open field you realize how fast that kid is.

I've thought for a while that Raydarius is one of the overlooked guys in this class. Nobody talks about him much but he's always looked like a good prospect to me

Good. Now we've got plenty of skilled athletes. Let's get some big offensive linemen to open holes for these good players to win football games.

I've seen Plumlee run in the low 4.4s.

Maybe he had tired legs or something but that day he was the clear #2. I've heard of Raydarius running in the 4.3's at several college camps but only used the Opening Bc they have the laser time equipment.

No telling. I've had some kids working out down there with a couple speed trainers and had the chance to watch him run. Haven't seen Jones run but I know he's long (like a sprinter). Now, some people will tell you Plumlee runs in the 4.3s but that's just not real IMO.

Yea Raydarius does have that sprinter stride. They both can chew up a lot of ground on the field. Witherspoon can as well now it's about teaching him the nuances of playing RB.

We need Raydarius. I've known Plumlee since he was 8. Great kid, hard worker and can fly. I do believe Raydarius is a touch faster.

I hate it when facts get in the way of a good disagreement.

No disagreement. I defer to IYOK. He's seen both. I've only seen one.

You like Ray as a WR? Why aren't we all over this guy with our need for speed at wide out.

And since he is best friends with Nakobe, why aren't we all over him?
