And to add- is it possible that Brian Cole could come back?

But we beat .....the......Confederates. Had to restrain myself there. Who cares!

Only lost two I thought. Peters and Gay. And it was a bullshit call.

If other players decide to sit out the bowl, this could certainly affect D.

AJ was really afraid that he was going to get ejected, and he should have been. I think he started all that crap when he rolled over on Abram, and did something to Abram, and then Abram retaliated based on what AJ had done to him.

Whut? And if frogs had wings...

We good. Smitherman for Peters and Leo for Gay. Plus Landrews is back.
-
If we lose players unfairly for the bowl game then it won't bother me if we lose the game. That entire sequence was initiated be the confederates. **** them.
That being said, there's only two teams in the nation that I don't think we can't beat without a few of our players.

People have forgotten that the best play of the Egg Bowl was made by one of our back-up corners. Rayford is an experienced senior who I think will be fine for a half.
-
Heck the backups shutdown the vaunted unm offense for a quarter I think we'll be alright for a half at the bowl game
-
SEC would be the entity to suspend players for Bowl Game.

Isn't this an SEC thing? These were SEC officials. If so I don't know why the SEC would want to penalize us in a bowl game.

Only team I think it kills us against is if we play Georgia tech. If we play Georgia tech, it wouldn't surprise me if Simmons and sweat sit it out bc of those cut blocks

My real concern is how badly the refs butchered who should?ve been ejected and the fact that the ejections can be reviewed by the NCAA and punished for the next game. My concern is that Abrhams will be suspended for the bowl game even though he wasn?t ejected tonight.
If the ref's had done their job and stopped play a the end of the 3rd quarter, because time had run out before the pass. There would have been no fight and no ejections! The fault lies with the ref's.

I can't see any of our Defensive players sitting anticipating the draft. These guys are gung-ho, they come to play!

Agreed. I wonder if we can get any potential suspensions thrown out on the basis that the play that led to the fight shouldn't have happened.

Their back ups did pretty good.
-
Peters, Abram, and Dantzler could all be out a half. I still think Dantzler gets pardoned but we'll see. Landrews will be back. He could've played last night in an emergency. We should be ok for a half if our offense can move the ball.
