That being said though, we will still be out talented by the freaks that Bama, LSU, & UGA get.
I do feel as though we are gaining on Auburn & A&M's rankings are the opposite of Mississippi & JUCO guys.
Good assessment, I really believe we are gaining on LSU too. Bama and UGA with all those 5 stars they're getting is ridiculous. With what we have on campus and the talent in this class we are gonna have a pretty dang good roster! Can't letup though as the war for recruiting never ends.

The only teams in the SEC we haven't been able to play with are AL and GA. Those are two of the top 5 recruiting teams in America. I don't care what LSU or FL or A&M are ranked. They're propped up. We can play with them. We've proven that already.

This is how i see it as well. I only see Bama and UGA with a talent edge on us. We have become an upper half of the SEC program. I'm enjoying this new era.

Assuming we get Cross and Hall, the only guys in MS I'd like to grab would be Young and Mingo. Dean and Turnage would be good too, but give me Young and Mingo over what's left out there. And we know Young and Dean aren't a possibility. There's a bit of a debate on whether Mingo and Turnage are though.

The difference to me is that LSU, Auburn, & A&M have holes on their roster. So when you play them there are legitimate ways to exploit them. However, UGA & Bama are so loaded across the board that there is simply no hole on the roster to attack

LSU and AU are up and down. They'll have big years and down years. They're not AL. A&M hasn't proven a damn thing yet. FL is stuck with Dan's recruiting. TN is more our speed but we're ahead of them pretty considerably right now.

Cross and Hall are gonna be big gets for us. I wish we could get Byron too but he's not coming(and he's still talking UF). I hear Mingo is still in play and would love to get him. Turnage is still a possibility.

Do we have a better chance at Turnage than Ole Miss does? It'd be awesome to pull a 4 star out of Oxford. Little payback for AJ

What would be cool is if we could add an extra section to page 1 regarding remaining offers out and the % chance we have to land them. Something like a 90% group, 70-89 , 50-69. So on and so forth. IYOK would be good at that.

Yes, but it's still pretty slim.

Sorry if it's been discussed, but what about Handy? It would suck for both him and Young to go out of state.

I'll just be honest, we don't need Handy. He's, shall we say, overrated.

Let's discuss this in-state class again. The top 10 are all over the board. From those of you that follow HS a little closer than myself I'm curious about a few things:
1) Who is over and under-rated?
2) Which 3 players do you think will have the best college careers?
3) I'm curious on the S'Ville kids Clemons and Edwards. Clemons blew up the camp scene and then haven't heard a peep from him. Edwards had a ton of high end offers and then looked horrible over the summer. How did they both end up looking during the season?
4) Russell was a bit odd in that he's a highly rated player that didn't camp much, was hurt some, didn't seem to have a great season but it still highly ranked. What's the skinny on him?

I would rather not list any players as over rated. Let our staff make those determinations, not us fans.

Well, we aren't pushing for him. I'd say that pretty much says it. But to be fair, he's had a pretty rough family life. He's got the ability but if he wasn't committed to AU, his ranking would've dropped last round of reviews.
