We played inside out in the 2nd half and got out in transition. Played outside-in in the first half and Howland made a poor sub with Feazell and Perry in the game together. Too much to overcome.

Incredible to lose to this ASU team without one of their best players, Rob Edwards.

Well the guy who replaced him was their head thug who basically fouled at will in the first half and set the tone that they were going to foul the shit out of us until the refs called it. He was also the guy who got called for an intentional foul against Holman in the second half but the damage was already done. They were able to foul at will in the first half which is a big reason they got up 15. Had the refs called it even remotely close ASU fouls out most of their players. The only chance ASU had was if the refs swallowed the whistle like they did. Oh well, on the bright side a team like that does prepare you to play a Tennessee team who also plays with equal amount of thuggery.

What? Absurd post. Bobby Hurley is a great coach and Arizona State is a tournament team playing in their backyard of Las Vegas. We don't play like shit in the first half we win this game by 7+ points. We weren't gonna go 13-0 in OOC games. Some of y'all live in die with each game like it's the entire season riding on it.

It's one game. No need for a melt...yet. We do need to bounce back and beat St Marys though.

It's not a huge deal that we lost, it's just disappointing that we're doing the same crap we did last year. It's probably not as many as I think it is, but I feel like we lost half a dozen games last season in the exact manner we did tonight.

We just didn't come to play in the first half. Nick having to go out with 3 with 5 minutes to go really sealed the game. Great job in the second half though. A lot to build on and a lot to work on definitely.

Can't have slow first halves. They get you beat vs good teams every time. You aren't exaggerating. We had minimum half a dozen slow halves vs SEC teams alone last year. That's 100% on Howland. He has to find a way to get his team playing a full 40 minutes. Maybe it's his subbing in the first half that is the problem. Maybe he subs too quickly in the 1st half. We were up 13-11 and then went to total shit for the rest of the 1st half. Can't have that.

I don’t think Arizona State is a tourney team but I don’t think this loss hurts us that much. Just got to win Wednesday. Lose to a bad Saint Mary’s team and that will worry me.
