Looked him up... big time prospect. Nice to get a visit, but I'll be shocked if we flip him from Michigan.

From what I have read, he was part of the 2017 signing class and an EE at Michigan then transferred to CC in Kansas. I would be kind of surprised if he goes back to Michigan based on him transferring from there.

Ahhh... I didn't look close enough. I assumed he was a current commit. Thanks for clarifying

Our handling of RB recruiting has been “odd”.

We've continued to swing and miss but we keep swinging.

And if so, are we taking a Juco RB as well? We’ve talked to a few.

How big of an issue will Tenn be if they offer, in your opinion? Thinking it becomes 50/50 but I could be wrong

With the RB recruiting, I actually like the approach this staff had.
We were on 2 out of state 4 star and 5 star guys and Emery was basically being a silent commit to our staff.
“Things” happen in recruiting and anyone that doesn’t understand that by now its best to not follow recruiting
Outside of Ealy who won’t be playing college ball IMO there aren’t any SEC calibure backs in the state
Also there are no SEC calibure juco RB in the state either. From what I have been told. If we go juco route if will be out of state
Witherspoon is our best option ,he might end up being a very good option , and odds are he ends up here.
Also we are very much in the mix for a 5star back in the 2020 class.

If we get the guy next season, we should be fine. Freshmen RBs can play, and we have Gibson 1 more year and Kylin for at least 1, probably 2

Correct. Emery was at TN this weekend & he got all the attention. I don't think they offer.

Bama and Bama only? Well I guess If we were winning national championships then kids wouldn't want to leave our state.

I don't see anything in the post that I quoted that says "top players" I am saying that alot of our fans think all Mississippi kids should stay home and play for us. If they go out of state they are primadonnas, If they happen to stay instate but go to OM they are bought. Why can't a kid just want to be apart of a winning tradition? If they have pride in the state and want to play here, great if not how can you fault them for their choice? It is their lives and their decision.
