Raekwon Davis
Seeing him as a projected first rounder made me think about his recruitment. What exactly happened there? Didn't he like commit to us over twitter but then said somebody hacked his phone or smn?

Yes. Word was that an ex-MSU player on the Meridian staff pushed him to Bama .

I can't because I don't know the story. Just remember that little nugget without remembering any of the details

I think everyone in Mississippi should listen to Brandon Walker's rant from yesterday afternoon about Mississippi Bama fans. It is all true.

I thought the word was we wanted to move him to OL.

I don't have any insight regarding the High School, but I'm not sure I've lived in/been to a MS town that had as high a percentage of Bammer Bandwagon Types as Meridian does....

It's always been that way. When I was growing up there I'd say it was, in order, OM, MSU, Ala, and you could easily reverse the last two. Remember a guy named Bailey who played for the Bear (not the Bears)?

There are actually a lot of bama grads there too, Tuscaloosa is closer to meridian than Starkville, although not by much. Meridian High is as dirty as it gets. That was David Bailey, he died a few years back but I?m pretty sure his son still lives in Meridian.

Yea the Alabama following around here is pretty big. I could count the number of Alabama graduates on my fingers.
