I’m really warming up to Moorehead but I don’t understand this.

It's not ideal - but in option offenses it's going to happen. Fitz led us in carries in 9 games in 2016, and the stat sheets in those games look very similar to what we are seeing this year in terms of touches for the RBs. Last year it was more balanced. But notice - in last years Egg Bowl and the Gator Bowl, as well as the SFA game KT led us in touches.

If Fitz makes it through the season it will be a miracle, and maybe KT too. We have got to get our backs involved in the run game. Not to mention what rb would want to get near this type of offense? I’m hoping it’s just Moorhead figuring things out and playing it safe.

We've given up what 2 tds in about the last 51 possessions now. We pretty good on defense

That’s why I said get them involved in the run game. Fitz is running too much and taking too many hits. If he doesn’t get hurt and we keep winning that’s great, but our backs are too good too keep out of the RUN game.

Only thing that still really bothers me at this point is how often our tackles get blown up in pass protection. It is what it is this year but I really hope Johnson has an answer for getting this cleaned up in the offseason.
