This is the only game Bama has a chance to lose during the regular season and it's a small chance. Worth tuning in for, but probably not after the 3rd quarter. If LSU can rattle Tua, they have a chance to keep it close and make a play or two late to escape with a shocker. However, it's slim to none that the stars align.

I don't think they have the DBs to stop your QB and the fron 7 to pressure him.

MS ST on the other hand.....

    Saying
This is my take. We will play them closer than LSU does. We have nothing to lose when we roll into Tuscaloosa and will be playing with our hair on fire - I think we hit Tua hard and often. Bama is also known not to cover the spread as well at home as they do on the road.

I think LSU is overrated and should lose solidly.

My only hesitation is that Bama hasn't been challenged since the national championship game, and it will be in death valley. I could see it taking until the 4th quarter to shake out if LSU can put up some kind of running game on bama.

If I'm going to bet though, I'd take Bama and give up the two touchdowns. Not a game I'm excited about touching either way though.

42-17. Tua much for the Tiggers.

I don't see this game being very close. I think Bama beats them by 21+.

They always are, Bucky... That's a fact. I just think there is to much disparity in talent this year for LSU to overcome...

Previous posts in the thread/other threads got me to looking at the NFL players produced from the 2011 game vs this year (projected) and it's not close for LSU while Bammer may have more...

That being said, 2-3 turnovers and a some poor ST's play, and we might have a nailbiter...

Alabama has played arguably the easiest schedule in the S.E.C. Their best win is against A&M. Having said this the officials will not allow Alabama to lose this game.
Sad to say but money has ruined college football. Heck for that matter Alabama has ruined college football.

Speaking of “money”, wouldn’t the SEC want LSU to win so they’d have a shot at 2 teams getting in the CFP?

Alabama's weak schedule and a loss to go along with LSU and Georgia in the championship game would hurt Alabama . Last year when this happened Alabama had it's schedule strength to fall on.

Everything has been pretty easy for Tua since the championship game. I say LSU gets a couple of picks and rattles him. It stays close until late in the 4th when LSU runs a triple reverse flea flicker for the win. One of the veins exposed by Saban's thinning hair explodes and Eddie O retires Saban much like TUSK likes to point out Saban did to Urban.
