Depends on how it’s debated. Is it ranked teams at the time or end of the season? You’ve seen both in the Mullen debates depending on which side you were on. OM in his first year and Florida in the second if I recall correctly at the time we played them. Auburn not ranked now so depends how you want to look at it. I look at the time of the game when you are counting in season because that loss in some cases causes or was a catalysis to a team becoming unranked. Good debate either way

I look at as what they're ranked when you play them. That's how it's recorded in cfb stats so that's how I view it. So it took him 2 years and then 4 more years to win against ranked again.

This is Moorhead's first "real" HC job. I think he'll be good for us honestly. I look for next year to be a better year offensively after a year in the system. Just sucks to have a coaching transition when we have arguably the best D in school history and maybe in all of college football this year.

Of course a lot of that credit goes to Shoop. I think he's been great this year. I think he's a much better improvement over Grantham and Grantham wasn't a slouch.
