Jeffries announcing this weekend
Anybody heard anything? Seems like dad isn't too high on OM. I'm thinking its either us or Memphis.

It's odd to see them being in the mix, even if its an illusion, for a decent basketball recruit.

The big Memphis boosters I have been around say NM is throwing big Money his way, but believe it’s still either us or Memphis. They are worried about us being in the mix big time.

It's MSU or Memphis. As of right now I still think it's MSU but Memphis isn't going away. He's not going to OM.

If it's only about money he'll be a Landshark, if it's about furthering his basketball career he'll be a Bulldog. Memphis is out and their boosters have admitted it. They say Penny waited too long because he assumed he was in the bag once he decommited from UK. OM is throwing around A LOT of money. I can confirm that

There seams to be a new since of optimism on the Memphis side in the last week or so. It's been a crazy recruitment. Drama drama. We shall see.

I saw him play at Hotbed last season... he was most talented player there by far....I think he goes to Tiger high tho....

He's not going to OM. OM isn't in it.

It started Sunday on their in home. It started growing from there. We'll see if it's enough to pull him. You're right this recruitment has been high drama.

The OM fan media is really playing up the “we know for a fact he’s telling everyone he’s going to OM” card. They’re trying to generate some recruiting momentum for Kermit. They actually say they’re getting Jefferies and Chandler. When they don’t get him it’ll be Penny or Howland paid him big money. Watch what I say

They've already started back tracking. And yes that's the stance.

Kind of hard to see a kid like him turning down Penny Hardaway and Mike Miller.

I had some cautious optimism until it was reported this morning that he would attend Memphis' exhibition game tonight.
I don't see this kid trolling Penny that hard - to show up tonight then choose another school 2 days later.

He was Kermit's no. 1 priority. Kermit has already lost on 2 other big priorities. Chandler will go to Ole Miss or Oregon.
I've said Memphis all along on Jeffries. For those that don't know, Jeffries played on Penny's AAU team so that's hard to overcome. We still have a chance though. Howland and Brooks have done all they could do.
