A Preds home game is a happening in Nashville. We had a blast! We have our tickets for one over Christmas this year. Hopefully we win this one,

Who are the Preds?

The Nashville Predators , Nashville's NHL team. They lost in the Stanley Cup Finals two years ago and won the President's Trophy for the best regular season record last year. They are one of the best hockey teams on the planet at the moment. Broadway and Bridgestone Arena are something special right now.

The Nashville Predators are one of the best teams in the entire NHL. They ARE the only team in the NHL even close to Mississippi. I live in Mississippi and I'm closer to them than I am to the Braves and Falcons, and seriously closer than I am to the Saints or the Cardinals. The only pro team closer is the stinking Grizzles, and I don't follow the NBA. I consider the Titans and the Preds my local pro teams.

If 7 hadn't been such an annoying bitch about everything since C34 sold coffee beans I'd never of brought up the Braves thread that's been on the 1st page of the board for an entire year. Bridgestone makes good tires. If I'm in the vicinity one day, will consider. Maybe a NASCAR event will be in the making as well along with a TX Roadhouse medium rare filet. Their spicy green beans kick ass.

I actually just went to the game last night against Winnipeg. Hold on, I'll show what photos I have.

Okay...so a bit of an image dump in here, but this is all from last night. Tuesday was the banner raising for the Preds. We raised three banners that night, Presidents' Trophy (Most points in the regular season), Central Division Champions, Regular Season Western Conference Champions. Well we ended up losing that game to Calgary, but the banners are up there forever now.



Now they have made a concerted effort to put the fans first in Bridgestone, and it shows. All of the areas are really open and helpful. The plaza area is always full of something to do. And the food is all good as well.



With Bridgestone being the sponsor, they created a replica of the Nashville Predators mascot Gnash out of old tires. It's actually really cool.



We ended up sitting in the Bud Light Fan Zone which is the upper deck above where the Predators shoot twice. They have a standing room area with portals where you can stand and watch the game from above. It's actually not that bad of seats at all





It's a really fun atmosphere. The chants from Cellblock 303 are the best. After a Predators goal, you have to sing "I like it, I love it" from Tim McGraw with a bit of a Preds spin to it. Don't worry, you'll hear it quickly.



After they announce the goal, the Cellblock leads everyone into the chant. "That's one! (add in others depending on how many the Preds have scored) Thank you very much! Can we have another? He shoots! He scores! YOU SUCK! [Goalie's last name] CRAWWWWWWWFORDDDDDDD. CRAWWWWWWFORRRRRDDD. CRAWWWWFORDDDDDDD. YOU SUCK! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! It's all your fault!"



That was the Stanley Cup Final against the Penguins.

Anyway, when the game is over. You go outside, go down Broadway, and celebrate with the rest of the Preds fans in the bars. Easily, one of the best sport atmospheres to be in, and a ton of fun as well.
