These players needed tutors, untimed tests, and prayer chains to make an 18 on their ACT. Don't make them think too hard.

We heard this same 17n thing last week. Moorhead better not come out and have the same game plan as last week.
And I am still on his side.

Or I will boo that dude until I cannot speak.

I need a tailgate to hang out in

But I don't believe it either. It doesn't make sense that our coaches would tell him of all people about some closed door meetings. If they did tell him I bet they don't tell him again because he pretty much just got on the radio and told Auburn our game plan and ruined any element of surprise.
I'm skeptical about anything changing much at this point and I'm definitely in "believe it until I see it mode."

Bull and shit...I do not believe this for one second. That is spin from the athletic department trying to increase attendance at the game. They know, now, that they royally ****ed up this hire. Instead of trying to save money and make a tricky hire they should have opened the pocket book and brought in a successful, established head coach to take this team to the playoffs where it belongs. Instead Cohen tried to get cute. This was a massive opportunity squandered by our AD that will set the MSU football program back years. This is squarely on the head of Cohen and I'm ****ing mad as hell.

If there are no changes and we have another 200 yard, 1 score game, Moorhead is done. This Saturday night will be halfway point of season... no longer a SSS
-
Well after two losses to teams we should have beat, I would hope so. The light should have came on after UK loss

Who exactly would have been the successful/playoff caliber HC that warranted paying that type of money and fit our talent and program? Honestly that would be an extremely small or nonexistent list, with that criteria. No matter how much you were willing to pay

Yep.
They were just talking on Bounds' show about Arkansas being the only SEC win and still keeping Moorhead one more year. LOL! We ain't beating Ark. That's another 13-10 game right there. We'll be their only SEC win and we'll go 0-8 in conference. Moorhead should be fired if that happens!

He should quit on his own if he goes 0-8 with this SEC schedule. 4-4 would be piss poor and a minimum with what he?s working with.

True but I bet Jeremy Pruitt would have us in a better spot right now.

Maybe but he didn’t fit the idea of paying a lot for a proven HC that could take us to the playoffs like the OP alluded to. And would Pruitt take our job over Tenn anyway?

Did you post this in the Fire Shoop thread, or was that your twin?

Keep walking back that line my friend....While you may have 50,000 nonsensical posts, doesn't mean that you can flip/flop and not get called out.

Dana Holgorsen, Les Miles, or Bryan Harsin just off the top of my head would've been great hires. I also think someone like Kiffin or Neal Brown could've done the same thing, they just wouldn't have been looked at as established playoff caliber coaches.

That's me. We aren't firing anyone midseason. I'm talking about at the end of the season, which I even doubt we do then.

Les Miles?!? Come on, horrendous fit with our personnel and he’s so sought after he still doesn’t have a job. Get real
Holgorsen wasn’t leaving WV and what on his resume makes you believe he could lead us to the playoffs. Hasn’t sniffed it in the easier B12. 2 ranked teams in 7 years and a lot of 7 win seasons and a 4 win season
I like Harsin and agree that might be the best option. Boise guy though and outside of Peterson they have all mostly flopped once leaving there
Yeah Kiffin and Brown don’t met the criteria and although still under sanctions during most of his time, Kiffin’s track record at a big program doesn’t fill anyone with confidence. And is a bad fit

Seriously, this is actually bad news if true.
I'd rather the answer be that Moorhead is stubborn than that he is stupid.
