I'll come back and admit, Henderson's decisions ended up being good ones. It's just head scratching to pull France after he shut them down like he did, but Gordon and Neff kept them from scoring, so credit must be given for that I guess.
Washington's staff needs to be mentally evaluated for taking out their starter. The dude was rolling with a low pitch count and would've kept shutting us down I believe. Another gutsy performance by our guys. Never count them out
The ONLY questionable decision was to pull France after 1 inning and go through 3 bullpen pitchers in 2 innings. And that was only going to be an issue if we went deep into extra innings. Game ended in 9 so the point is moot. Could have been a factor if our bullpen had gotten extended though so that is why I didn't like it at the time.
