I think they are wrong to do it, but I understand the underlying rage/anger towards UT to never play them again. Towards the end of the falling out over the Longhorn network they told A&M they would be able to have some of their games broadcast too on the new network. Then when the Aggies started the departure threats they told them it would be no big deal.
All that said, A&M lost the last regular season meeting so I would think they would want a crack at redemption. They own Houston, would be a great chance to unload the Horns.
