Hannah Hidalgo is a good example to show coach Sam Purcell and his staff the importance of Miss. State's women's basketball needing atleast a minimum of one guard capable of taking over games. Coach Yo recently tweeted on this subject as well She's a coach that has been knowing this but just using social media to help communicate this to other coaches and fans. Also, look how Zam Jones took over the NCAA Tourney game against Tennessee. A guard like Zam Jones and amongst several others becoming available in the portal would instantly put Miss. State back in the mix in the SEC and nationally. If a current roster guard or recruit developed and stepped up to the needed level that's fine as well.
