If the "elites" break away, Ole Miss will be the 13th or 14th SEC school invited to the breakaway league.
I don't think it's going to happen though. I expect the entire Power Four to break away, not a subset of it. Fans of the "left behind" schools wouldn't shift their allegiances, so consolidation wouldn't really work. Washington State and Oregon State got left behind because they barely had any fans to begin with.
