No shit. Gene Stallings is a legend. He won Natty as an underdog with one of the best defenses ever. The D was led by the defensive savant of his time, Bill Oliver. He had a shitty quarterback and went undefeated that year, beating Florida and then Miami.

I could be wrong, but weren't we the only team that held a lead against that AL team in 92? I remember us fumbling a punt when we were up 1 in the 2nd half which set them up to take over the game.
