Figured I would get a little debate going before the Egg Bowl.

We all know how much the Egg Bowl meant Pre-NIL. For the most part, both teams had majority Mississippi kids who grew up loving one team and hating the other. All you have to do is watch old highlights and you will quickly see the dislike from both State and Ole Miss.

Here's the debate:

With the transfer portal and NIL draped through college football now and rosters full of kids from all over the country (Especially OM).. do you think the rivalry still means as much to the players as it use to?

To the fans, I say absolutely. To the Mississippi kids, yes. But I feel like the fire has somewhat died out due to so many different players transferring every year from all over the country. Would like to hear y'alls view.
