The flip side of this is the fact that we have gotten so many guys in the portal from Virginia shows how good O'Connor is at identifying and developing talent. In the future we wouldn't have gotten them because they would have already been here to start with. We had to go portal heavy with Lemonis because he simply wasn't as good at player development.
That's a good thing for us because I would guess that as far as spending money and NIL goes it's probably more expensive to get guys out of the portal than it is when they're already here to start with.
