I am surprised at Tolu's play in the summer league, but that league is for rookies and undrafted free agents I think. I hope he makes the Pistons. You notice I had to go decades back to find real NBA success as in Howell, Malone & Dampier. Maybe things will change in the future under Jans. Hail State!
It's just tough for players to make the NBA and stick. I mean look how many great college players over the last 10-15 years have flamed out in the NBA. Jimmer Fredette, Trey Burke, Frank Kaminsky, Frank Mason, Luka Garza. And those guys were NAISMITH AWARD WINNERS that flamed out. It's tough to make the league and stick. You have to either be a super stud or have to accept a role. Most players aren't the first and refuse to do the second.
