Which is a coaching issue.

Coaching 101

Step A: find, interview and sign the best hitting coach and best pitching coach available.

Step B: Explain to pitching coach that if the throw 95 plus to the backstop that ain?t good. Explain to the hitting coach that there is a widening field from the point of home plate and they should learn to use every inch of grass in the outfield and should try not to hit it into the shift on the ground.

Step 1: evaluate, recruit, and sign best available.
Step 2: never ever make a 6th year player the team captain. If he has been around that long he has grade school kids and couldn?t make a Low A Minor League Roster.
Step 3 when recruiting a power hitter make sure he has the ability to hit 1/3 of his homers to opposite field AND can play a position in the field!

I?m sure you guys can add more.
