yep, and no team has EVER put in an unproven pitcher in blow outs to see what they are made of.. you always go to your #1 closer, sarcasm meter on full tilt_
the thing is , you know that putting inexperienced arms in order to evaluate has ALWAYS been the norm unless your #1 closer needs to get OUTthere. that was my only point.. if there WAS a point, then that was when the discussion was to begin, NOT that I did not know anything about baseball..
that was when you all went total ****tard.. All I was pointing out was the fact that we were putting our # 1 starter on the mound with a 7 run lead
there are times when you do it (which are few) and most of the time you do not..
if you don't understand that, you don't understand baseball...
