I own 2 small businesses and the majority of my employees are white and who rent and are broke by monday when they were paid on the previous friday. They have step kids and folks just shacking up with them etc until they get behind on rent and evicted. Most usually relocate approx every 8-12 months. The common denominator is cigarettes, beer, whiskey, pot, pills, meth etc. They will miss a day of work periodically due to these factors. I have employed a few hispanics as well as some african americans but they didn't seem to enjoy working outside in the elements and said we were white devils. 2 of them are now dead and another is in parchman while one has an ankle monitor. Exactly none and I mean zero of them had any type of family structured upbringing or were taught any money management skills so take it as u will. My friend and financial advisor was raised poor like me and we ended up good friends and our only difference is that he's black and I am white and he makes more than me, so should I be jealous? We were both raised in 2 parent home and were drug to church whether we wanted to or not. Why are all the daily necessities so costly now and what can be done to alleviate cost and supply chain issues? We all need good jobs and Flores had one but he got sucked in. I say it's stupid if one lives week to week and tries a vacation a month.
