Which is why you absolutely DO NOT play the two that matter tonight. You only play them if you think they make a difference between a win and a loss. Joe made the ONLY rational call. He is smarter than most here when it comes to football, based on that alone.
In that case, he might want to think about taking Shrader out before he gets hurt. Save him for the next game.
