A lot can be said but in the SEC, you have to recruit to compete. If he could recruit at a high level and have all the positives then he is a good hire. The bottom line is to even give Bama a game, you have to recruit in the top 25 at least unless you can get a bunch of fluke turnovers like UM did that one year. Saban typically has his team play disciplined football so those type of opportunities are very few.

One thing I like about Moorhead is that he has improved recruiting.
