The problem here is very obvious. We let them get into our heads and we played down to their level. Now that is absolutely on Joe but he gets a chance to fix it.
It might have been, but this is the same team that played SFA and KSU. We took care of business against LALA, but we did what we should have then, nothing more. If the run gets stuffed we get beat. If Moorhead continues to try to throw the ball, we get beat more than we should. I think Moorhead's offense is the new wave in college football, but Fitz can't run run it. Nor do we have the receivers to do it. Last week showed what it's capable of when we have the talent to do it. This week shows where we are with that talent vs the SEC, the worst of the SEC.

There's no way we can beat Florida with Fitz and our secondary. Or Auburn, LSU, A&M, Bama. Four new nightmares start next Saturday

We didn’t even try to establish a running game in the first half to inflict our will. We tried to pass and it led to a lot of failed drives. This OL sucks at pass blocking btw but is excellent at run blocking. Moorhead’s trying to mash a square peg in a round hole and it bit him hard tonight.

You guys don’t understand shit!!!! We never even tried to run the ball. Our RBs between them when this was a game had 12 carries. That’s not doing shit in the run game. We didn’t even try to run the football.

Lol, you don't follow my posts much do you. I wouldn't argue with anything you said but the first sentence. The second one remains to be seen. The third one........he was 8-1 against U.K. And absolutely destroyed them last year.

Our OL did a lousy job of run blocking too...they did what every team will do and that’s stack the box...they physically whipped us...real easy recipe against us...and this was Kentucky

I'm not sure the city of Lexington could stand another big upset win. Thank goodness it's raining there so the fires won't spread.

They stuffed every run we tried. I agree about Moorhead. Fitz can't run his offense. His passing isn't good enough.

But that's what we hired. It's what we are now. Don't bitch at me.

We had 16 total rushing atts in the 1st half with Fitz having 10 of these. We should had at least 25 atts. MB is right about our line, it was recruited to RUN THE DAM BALL. And unless you have a Manning or a Tua back there You better have at 70 - 30 run to pass; exp in the rain.

Our first two drives were pass heavy. We didn’t even do a single zone read play like we had the previous three weeks. In fact I didn’t recognize that offense at all from the first three weeks. The game plan was shit.

It was the same. We were just playing a team that actually had a pulse. The teams we had played coming in were probably 3 of the worst 5 on the schedule. They might be the worst 3. We will have to upset at least one team to go bowling, provided we win the other two of the five.

No it wasn’t, not even close. MB is correct. Game plan was garbage, 100% reminded me of mullen

Early on in the game they stacked the box and made us throw it.

As the game went on they went away from it and Moorhead wasnt patient and kept the air raid on.

He got baptised tonight hes got a chance to fix it but it better be quick.

Worst of all we looked totally undisciplined and soft. And not one time did I see Moorhead come unglued on an official or a player. He hid in the corner

Last year I believe we led the league in fewest sacks with pretty much same OL. It ain't the talent on OL. It's coaching and toughness.

Anyone that says we should just run the damn ball is clueless. Run when it's there and if they load the box, pass. And be able to read correctly when they are doing one or the other.

Well part of it is that we aren't good enough at a passing offense to execute it in the weather conditions tonight. Not sure why our coaching staff didn't realize that and go heavy run but they didn't.

UK had 7 in the box and walked that 8th one up every play. There were no running lanes.

When the receivers are dropping 70% of the passes you have to start running the ball, especially with our run heavy offense. I’m still not even sure why people are pissed at fitz, he was bouncing footballs off our receivers hands for 3 quarters until things just got out of hand.

I've had 2 main concerns really ... DBs and WRs. I also don't think Joe is playing the "best" players IMO, but that's his call. I also have noticed our LBs getting fooled by eye candy some in our wins, but thought that would get cleaned up. It was horrible tonight.

Our DBs will lose every jump ball situation, even if they are right there with it. Not sure our WRs are any better either.

I wasn't concerned by our line play on both sides, but we got our ass handed to us tonight.
