    If I were LSU...

I would be keeping a close eye on the urban Meyer deal. Ohio state will most likely fire urban. LSU will most likely be 8-4/7-5 this season bc of brutal schedule. I would be in contact with urban Meyer, and start the process to sanitize his name this season to hire him after the season. LSU immediately would be back. As a state fan though, I really hope this doesn't happen... the sec west would have saban, urban, and jimbo.

Won't happen. I think it will be a long time, if ever, if we see Urban again. Unless there is some way he can escape this and fig out a way to prove he didn't know about the 2015 incident.

LSU has big time money problems.

If I were Urban I would apologize and act remorseful, donate a lot of money to women's abuse and hope that it blows over after a couple of years.

Do you seriously think that would stop LSU or even worse, Ole Miss?

Of course it wouldn't stop them. If saban had done the same thing at bama, he wouldn't be fired.

LSU can't afford Urban. That's why they are stuck with Ed O.

If O goes bowling he won't be fired IMO.

The fans will hate going 8-4/7-5 but they aren't firing O. O will be around a couple more years.

If urban Meyer is sitting there, I bet they would. We were keeping Rick ray until Howland fell in our lap

I need whoever got coach O a $12m buyout (8.5 this year) on retainer.

Meh maybe. Let's wait and see what comes out. It's not the 2015 allegations as much as the 2009 I think. Urban has now admitted to "counseling" the smiths after the 2009 domestic violence, and then hired Zach Smith again in 2012 knowing he was a confessed domestic abuser. He may be lucky to escape the feds under Title IX.

Wow. I still think if Meyer is anything close to hireable after this, LSU boosters would make sure money didn't stop the hire. LSU has to look at their old coach's dynasty at a rival school... if the next best in the game came available, they'd bite imo

I think it's more likely that Auburn hires Meyer the next time they need a coach. That's assuming they can't get away with hiring Art Briles.

I've heard LSU has big money problems too. "They'd find a way for Urban" you might think, but literally less than 2 years ago the best they could afford was Ed O. They also had to pay Les $3.3M per year through Dec of next year. It would have been less if he got another job, but thankfully he didn't so they owe the full amount.

Combined Les+Ed payouts would be north of $6.8M for the 2019 season.... add in the price tag even a damaged Urban would command, and they'd be paying about $11M. There's no way they can replace Ed this year

And don't forget that they owe O 10 mil when they get rid of him.
