Outstanding performance by folty. I guarantee you the Nats were not expecting their suddenly hot offense to run into the buzz saw of these last two pitchers. But momentum is only as good as your next days starting pitcher...McCarthy let's see what you got.

I think Gohara is going to spend some time as middle relief. We really need him there.

Snit says he entered today committed to staying away from Viz and Winkler. They both warmed during Folty?s CG last night and he wanted the available for tomorrow. He also noted that Winkler had a ?tough inning? Thursday.

Snit, snit, snit... viz has pitched 2 innings the last week with 4 days in between games. Winkler has pitched 2 times this week with a day in between appearances. This was the game to use them... AJ 7th, winkler 8th, and viz 9th... you win series and guarantee 1st place after this series.
Snit also made a ridiculous double switch for no reason taking out the best defensive SS in the nl according to fangraphs for camargo. Camargo is a negative defender at SS. Scherzer got a ball by camargo that Swanson eats up every time.
Just a complete butcher job today by snit

Second time they've mentioned snits use of pen the last few days. Basically said nobody knows what's goin on with the team and the players more than the manager. Then joe says "everybody is a great manager in their own mind".

I went to the game on Friday night went Folty pitch a CG. The level of eye candy at SunTrust is better than it was at the Ted since it's in the suburbs + the Battery.

Suntrust is definitely an upgrade. As a bonus for me, it is now only about 30 minutes in traffic from Woodstock to parking at Suntrust.

Braves
Half way point, and braves are 47-34. 1st place with a 3-game lead. I wanna add 4 players: Sergio romo, moustakas (LH part of 3b platoon), LH reliever (jerry Blevins or similar), and a PH option. All of these type players should be cheap to acquire. I don't want to part with allard
