Hopefully his 9th inning will jumpstart him. He's dropped to .190 in sec play

Never have I called pilk a stupid nick name. I'm disappointed in whoever is responsible for pilk losing velocity, which has led to him being ineffective. I figure the coaches and S&C are just as much to blame for pilk's collapse as pilk is. Small, while very effective, has lost a bunch of velocity since pre-TJ. I've expected his velocity to improve as the season went on, but it hasn't. Our pitchers need to be gaining or at least holding steady in velocity, but they seem to be dropping. We have a problem imo

Did I read or hear somewhere we don't have any freshmen pitchers of this squad?

Not anymore. Pilk at 5.63 and JB at 5.93
Nevermind. I don't think these stats I quoted are updated yet. My bad.

Actually 6.25 era after today. JB can thank Jake and Mac for that big boost... should be 5.48 had they caught the fly ball

Yeah, that was little league stuff right there. Actually, that should have been Mac’s ball. He had the better angle but someone should have called for it.
