    Any news on Marrero?

    It was kind of weird of Coach Cann to mention him going to the bullpen. Skelton has looked better anyway.

    He's suspended for a stupid decision in class from what I hear. I was surprised he was eligible this year bc I had heard he didn't have much of a gpa.

    Cann apparently likes him for some reason. He has had him hitting 5th and DH on opening day which I can't explain.

    He will be a solid hitter with some PT, I certainly like him in the lineup over Lovelady

    Offensively there isn't much difference right now. All things considered- give me Lovelady right now.

    That's got to be among the worst in the sec

    You can sometimes afford that at catcher if the catcher handles the staff really well and is really good defensively- like Lovelady. Elih has a higher ceiling offensively but he's not much better at this moment. Skelton is our best all around catcher but we need him at third base until Stovall comes back.
